Sandhill Coneflower Rudbeckia mollis is a cousin to the Black-eyed Susan and can be easily mistaken for the shorter variety when R mollis becomes top-heavy and falls over. It will keep its 4-5 ft height with some support, such as a fence or growing in naturalized areas with Dog fennel. It is excellent for hot dry sites with poor soil. Planting method suggests to thin turf, broadcast seeds over area, rake or drag to make contact with soil. Water occasionally until sprouted. Net weight: 15mg. Packet will seed 100 sq ft.
