Standing Cypress Ipomopsis rubra needs dry, well drained soil; fence lines, meadows, full sun or part shade; It is an annual that reseeds and grows 2-5 feet high with blooms July - Sept. It is good for mass plantings.  Planting method suggests to thin turf, broadcast seeds over area, rake or drag to make contact with soil. Water occasionally until sprouted. Net weight: 15mg. Packet will seed 100 sq ft. Sow in fall for summer blooms. North Florida ecotype.
